California Water Bond Compromise Headed to Voters

California voters will consider a $7.5 Billion Water Bond in November following a deal that was struck between Governor Jerry Brown and lawmakers on August 13th. The new version replaces an $11.1 Billion Water Bond that did not make it to the ballot over fears California voters would reject it.

Fresno, CA – On July 30, 2007, the Kings River Conservation District Board of Directors adopted the Upper Kings Basin Water Forum’s (Water Forum) Integrated Regional Water Management Plan. Upper Kings Basin Water Forum Awarded Regional Water Planning Grant

Fresno, CA – A joint effort among several public agencies and other organizations has received a $500,000 grant from the California Department of Water Resources that gave the unique integrated regional water management-planning proposal nearly a perfect review score.
