The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (“NFWF”) is excited to announce the availability of more than $8M in funding for aquatic resources restoration projects within the Sacramento District California In-Lieu Fee Program Area (“ILF Program Area”), which spans 37 counties and 65,000 square miles within the State of California.

Urban Greening Grant Program Draft Guidelines for Public Comment

The California Natural Resources Agency (CNRA) has released draft guidelines for review and comments on an upcoming funding opportunity for projects that reduce greenhouse gasses while transforming the built environment into places that are more sustainable and effective in creating healthy and vibrant communities. This program emphasizes, and gives priority to, projects that are proposed by and benefit the State’s disadvantaged communities.

$40 Million in Grants Available from the Sustainable Agricultural Lands Conservation Program

The Sustainable Agricultural Lands Conservation Program (SALC Program) is accepting applications for $40 million in grants to fund the purchase of agricultural conservation easements and agricultural land conservation strategies. The goal of the SALC Program is to avoid increases to greenhouse gas (GHG) emission associated with the conversion of agricultural land to urban and rural development.
