The IRWMP defines problems and issues; regional goals and objectives; water management strategies; and projects to enhance the beneficial uses of water for the Kings Basin Region. Now in its second edition, the current IRWMP is the outcome of a more than two-year collaborative planning process that included a Disadvantaged Community (DAC) pilot study, extensive stakeholder involvement and numerous meetings among various work groups and participants. The final plan document was adopted by the Kings Basin Water Authority Board of Directors on October 17, 2012.
