DWR Announce Solicitation for 2016 Water-Energy Grant Program

The Department of Water Resources (DWR) is accepting applications for the 2016 Water-Energy Grant Program. On September 22, 2015, Governor Edmund G. Grown approved funding for the Water-Energy grant program through Senate Bill 101, which appropriated $19 million from the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund to DWR to continue this grant program.

The goal of the 2016 Water-Energy Grant solicitation is to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and also reduce water and energy use by funding commercial and institutional water-energy efficiency programs or projects and residential water-energy efficiency programs or projects benefiting disadvantaged communities (DACs).
